Getting Started
Today I officially got started designing the new blogging, podcasting, and vlogging workshop. I gues I better do it before trying to teach it. There are some really cool things that can be done with these "emerging" technologies. In the classroom teachers will be abble to easily and freely publish information. A new/easy way to increase their ability to communicate with students and parents.
Although I have known about blogging and podcasting for a while I had never really explored them in much depth or been a consumer of them. With just this little experience so for I am very excited about the possibilities within the classroom. Whenever I see or learn something new my first thoughts go to how it could be used in the classroom..... And if teachers can handle the technology well enough to use it to enhance the subject matter they are teaching. With the tutorial at www.freevlog.com I am convinced they can and will.
Last night I also started my graduate program in Instructional Design and Educational Technology. Pretty dramatic title. I am excited to learn and be inspsired. ¶ 2:23 PM 2 comments
